We often get asked by our customers the difference between the "Restore" Massage & the "Relax" Massage.
We've recently updated our treatments to better illustrate which of our services are classed as Restore/remedial massage and what is classed as "relaxing massage"
Firstly, let's explore the key differences between Remedial Massage & Relaxing Massage and then identify what is the best treatment for you.
RELAXING MASSAGE
Lets start with our relaxing treatments. If you are suffering from stress or just want some "me time", a relaxation massage is for you. Treatments usually have slow flowing strokes, kneading and gentle massages of the muscles performed at your chosen pressure. Therapists may use oils or creams to help the gentle gliding of the therapists hands.
Our RELAX Massage treatment is Inspired by Swedish, Thai, and relaxation massage techniques. Start with a full body oil massage to stimulate blood flow. Our AROMATHERAPY Massage treatment lets you choose from our selection of essential oils, or chakra balancing oils, that will trigger changes in the mind and body by affecting the limbic system. Carefully applied pressures stimulate the nervous system, while Swedish and neuromuscular techniques relieve muscular tension.
REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Remedial massage can involve a whole range of methods and treatments to treat chronic pain and muscle tension.
Usually recommended for injury management and prevention with techniques such as;
Muscle lengthening
Dry needling, for muscle release
Stretching
Prescribe exercises to work on at home
Deep Tissue Massage to work into your troublesome areas
